Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
An adoption application on SASHA can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to weatherley.woofriver@gmail.com
Please submit an application AND do NOT also contact the shelter. You will be contacting both the adoption coordinator and the marketing director, who do not see each other's emails. This causes confusion.
SASHA is the perfect combination of sweetness and fun that makes everyone love labs! She is a beautiful and petite 40 to 45 lb girl who is around 11 months old. She lives in a foster home with other dogs and does fantastically with all! Her foster mom is a horseback rider, so lucky SASHA gets to go with her to the barn daily. She is a happy, playful girl, but doesn't try to be the alpha dog. She will chase the kitties at the barn, but we think she is playing rather than trying to hurt them. She rides nicely in the car and will be a wonderful camping partner, hiking buddy, and family travel companion. While she enjoys playtime, SASHA is content having lazy days at home. She loves to be petted and will happily curl up and watch a movie with you. She is good in her crate and knows not to potty in the house. SASHA is everything a lab loving family could ever want. She is ready to make a lifetime of happy memories in her forever home.
SASHA is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her local adoption fee is $250.
An adoption application for SASHA can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to weatherley.woofriver@gmail.com. It typically takes us around 5 business days to process an application. We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed.
All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
