Neiko is a neutered 6 yo handsome 100+lbs hunk of German Shepherd. Neiko was surrendered by his owners because they were moving into a small apartment. He lived with a toddler and a Husky. He comes from working bloodlines so he does have high drive, even at 6, but also settles down nicely and is laid back in his kennel. He must have a family who is passionate about German Shepherds and understand the requirements of the breed. He needs a strong leader who will engage both his mind and body. Neiko will be a great waking buddy. He is friendly with people, but can be reactive with other dogs and most likely not good with cats. He never had any formal obedience training so he is learning basic commands and doing exceptionally well. He walks well on a leash and responsive to commands. He will need follow-on training with his new family to make sure appropriate leadership is established. 
 
He has lots of life to love to give to a family. Will you be the lucky ones?
