My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is a gorgeous puppy! a real looker, Rosie has a beautiful whote coat with black spots and a blue eye to boot! She is 5 months old (DOB 2/12/16) and weighs 30 pounds. She enjoys playing with toys, hanging out with people and learning new skills. She is super smart and already knows how to walk well on a leash, is crate trained, house broken and knows sit and comes when called. Whatever happened to Rosie has made her fearful about meeting new dogs...so she is best when introduced slowly. She will actively try to avoid new dogs (we think she has gotten beat up in the past) but when cornered an scared she will growl at them in an attempt to scare them away. She is well behaved in a safe fenced area and is used to interactive play outdoors but sleeps with her family at night. Rosie is looking for an inside forever home where she will live as part of the family and receive all the love she deserves. If interested in this beautiful pup, contact info.caresga@gmail.com for an adoption application. $300 adoption fee, application approval and a vet reference is required. (so current or past pet ownership is required). We DO adopt up north so just email us for details!
Adoption fees for puppies are $300, adults dogs are $250 and senior dogs are $150. This includes each animal being current on age appropriate vaccinations including DHPPL, bordetella and rabies, de-wormed for any internal parasites (round worms, hook worms, tape worms and whipworms), tested heart-worm negative (if positive, they are treated), tested negative for tick borne diseases, spayed/neutered, implanted with a mini micro-chip and have been examined by a veterinarian to certify that they are healthy. All animals are also on a monthly regime of flea and heartworm medication. Lifetime registration for the micro-chip as well as 30 days of free pet insurance is also included in each adoption fee. In addition, each adopter will go home with a fitted collar, tags, a bag of dog food the pet has been on, Forti-Flora, and an adoption kit filled with valuable information and coupons as well as other various treats or toys as promotions become available. All puppy adoptions include a puppy training book, the Puppy Primer by Patricia McConnell, to help ensure a smooth transition for your new family member.
We ask that you consider an additional donation on top of this pet's adoption fee. This money will go directly into our Adoption Fund to be used exclusively for rescuing and caring for other pets in need. Many pets we take in have very high vet bills to get them healthy and adoptable for the public - much higher than their adoption fees. We receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from our community and caring adopters to continue our rescue efforts!
