Animal's name: Buddy Age (years): 1 Weight (pounds): 16 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Coat: Wirehair Color: Wheaten Adoption fee: 275 Buddy is now with his foster mom and she reports that he is a very gently soul and is getting along very well with her little four legged female fur babies. He is quick to learn, know his boundaries and is not much a barker. He is very much a little lover boy that enjoys cuddling and will do well in a home with children. He does not do well with cats (most dachshunds donÂ’t) and can be a bit possessive of his toys. He really does not like being crated and wants the be the alpha dog. So, he would be best as an only dog. All of these items can be worked on and corrected with the proper training and patience by an experienced adopter. Buddy is truly a wonderful find and deserves only the best and most loving home possible. If you like Buddy, please fill out our application at drnc.org.
