Bubba and Hercules lost their mommy recently to cancer. When she passed, they were confiscated by the police and taken to the local kill shelter. Bubba made it into adoptions but Hercules was on the transfer list for medical issues. His ear infections were so bad, he would shake his head constantly.
We were told that Hercules is a service dog and Bubba was being trained as a service dog. We are not sure what type of service dogs they were, but Hercules would go to the many doctor appointments with his mommy. They know commands such as sit, down, stay, and shake. Hercules LOVES the water.
ROLV pulled them, got Hercules the medical attention he needed, they were reunited, and they have been placed into a WONDERFUL foster family. They have adjusted very well. They do great with other dogs, kids, and all people. Don't know about cats. The foster family has a special needs child and they are both very gentle with her and will even share their beds with her.
Both Hercules and Bubba are approximately 3 years old, UTD on shots and neutered. Both very well behaved little boys. They are just happy to be together again after being separated at the shelter for more than 10 days. And they are super happy being with their foster family. They live with two boxers, both female.
