Here's what the humans have to say about me:
RAYA is a 1 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 33 pounds. Raya is a very sweet dog who loves attention. She is recovering from a broken left hind leg after being hit by a car. The vet who repaired her leg says she will probably always have a limp. Raya seems to be good with other dogs, although her time with them has been limited since she's recovering from her injury. We don't know how Raya is with cats.Raya comes from the country and has no exposure to big cities. Placement is limited to standalone, single family homes in a suburban neighborhood or rural area. There's no kid history for Raya, so she's approved for kids ages 10 +.
Update: Raya had a fun weekend and went for a little hike. She walks well on leash and enjoyed meeting new people. She also seems to have adopted a stray litter of kittens that showed up in her foster mom's backyard over the weekend and is very gentle with them, so we're going to say she's good with cats.
Update: Raya is a fantastic little puppy. She's housetrained, and is super loving and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She wants to be petted and loved on. She's also still a puppy, so she wants to play a lot; but she's fairly patient for a pup. She loves tennis balls and tries to bring sticks home from walks. She crates easily, and is super smart - she knows Sit and is working on Down. Her foster mom can't say enough good things about her!
From transporter: Raya is a very sweet, adorable girl! She hopped into the back seat of the vehicle with my friend and snuggled right beside her or in her lap. She pulls some on lead, so an easy walk harness will be good for her. Raya has very good manners.
