Here's what the humans have to say about me:
OLIVIA is both smart and beautiful! She is 9-12 months old, perfect for someone who wants a young dog but would like to skip the tiny puppy training days. OLIVIA is incredibly affectionate and walks well on a leash. She knows not to potty in the house. She spends most of her days sunning in the back yard and hanging with her foster mom. At night she likes hang out in the kitchen while dinner is being cooked, then snuggle on the couch before curling up on her doggie bed to go to sleep. OLIVIA does great with other pups! She got an exemplary report card from the doggie day care where she stayed while her foster family went on a weekend trip. OLIVIA is a moderate energy girl so will do well in either a relaxed or active home. She loves chewing on her toys and is a good car passenger. OLIVIA is ready to make a lifetime of memories with her forever family.
OLIVIA is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to the Knoxville area.
An adoption application for OLIVIA can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to weatherley.woofriver@gmail.com. It typically takes us around 5 BUSINESS DAYS to process an application. We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed.
All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
