Please email the completed application to toniahanson@mac.com. Please submit an application AND do NOT also contact the shelter. You will be contacting both the adoption coordinator and the marketing director, who do not see each other's emails. This causes confusion.

DANDY is as cute as a little button and has the personality to match! This 3 year old, 10 lb girl has never met a stranger. She is outgoing and friendly with everyone. She does fabulously with other pups as well! Her best friend is a big goofy dog named Snatch. She loves to go on car rides and to give kisses. She lives in a foster home with children and is great with them. She hasn't been around any children under 4 while in our care. DANDY isn't yippy like some yorkies can be. She is a pleasure to be around. Her lucky forever family is going to have endless happy memories with this girl!

DANDY is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her local adoption fee is $250.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
