My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FAITH is a 4 year old spayed black female Lab who weighs 64 pounds. Faith is a very happy and fun dog. She loves to retrieve and will chase the ball until you are tired. She was a stray to the shelter and probably was dumped after having a litter of puppies but she doesn’t care as she is now inside keeping cool, getting attention and gets to go out and play with the other labs. She likes to get attention and has a good nose, she found which pocket the treats were in in about 10 seconds. She would like a family that has a fenced yard so she can chase balls and toys to get the exercise she needs. Good with other dogs, likes playing with the other LR pups at the kennel. No cat history. Knows sit, come and down, will have a training addendum as he is young and can use some additional training. Pulls on lead some, good with an Easy Walk Harness. Crate trained and may be house trained as she waits to go outside to do his business. She is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!

Update: Faith is a a complete delight! She follows her foster mom everywhere and will plunk herself down to hang out with her no matter what she's up to . She's very easy to manage, and doesn't mind the noise and activity of the city. She's very adaptable, and is also very trainable! She's an energetic dog, and appreciates getting her daily dose of exercise.

Update: Faith has smoothly transitioned to her foster home. She is extremely gentle and affectionate. She lives for belly rubs and retrieving tennis balls! Faith comes when called and has learned how to gently take a treat. She enjoys rumbling with the family's dogs but is also happy to lay by herself and chew a bone. She has a really nice temperament and loves to snuggle.
