Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Rachel could fly away with those ears. She came to us weighing 2.1 pounds, one of the teeniest dogs we've ever seen. She's eating wonderfully since her dental and has gained almost a half a pound in just 2 weeks. Rachel is a sweet little lap dog, a typical teeny Chihuahua who only wants a peaceful home, some good food and loving, and a nice lap to sit on. Once she gets your routine down, she'll be an easy, very loving companion. She may need some help with potty training, it's hard to know right now as she's crated while her family is at work during the day.
Little Rachel's Mom passed away and her family dropped this sweet girl off at a shelter. She was too skinny so the shelter asked us to help. Little Rachel has a wonderful foster home where she's gaining weight and we're getting to know her sweet personality.
Rachel doesn't have many teeth left, so she'll need to eat wet food.
Little Rachel is fully vetted including a recent dental, spayed and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $150.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Munster, Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. Adoption fees range from $150-$350. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
