***Trixie is on an inexpensive daily prescription medication (pill) for manageable seizures. Read no further if you're not interested in continuing that necessary medication. She is available for adoption to NW Indiana and Chicagoland.
Trixie is a sweet little Yorkie. She's maybe three years old and 8 pounds, and is pretty great. So great we can't think of why anyone would every give her up. We'd prefer a true dog-loving home for Trixie with people who are home during the day, want to walk their dog often, and give a lot of attention, quality food, great medical care, and lots of love to their dog. We don't think Trixie came from the best place and we feel compelled to find her that perfect home situation. She deserves it.

Trixie is fully vetted, spayed, and micro-chipped. Her is adoption fee is $350. Adoption fees from purebred popular dogs like Trixie help us help senior dogs, dogs with medical issues, and harder-to-adopt breeds of dogs.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Munster, Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. Adoption fees range from $150-$350. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
