~ ADOPTION PENDING ~
You may meet and apply to adopt Bria at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, JULY 31st from 12 Noon – 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH. (Our event is held INSIDE of the PETCO store.) adoptpetmatch@gmail.com
BRIA NEEDS A FOSTER FOR A SHORT TIME UNTIL ADOPTED. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN FOSTERING BRIA, PLEASE EMAIL adoptpetmatch@gmail.com
Bria is a female Shih Tzu/Maltese mix only 1 year old. She is a perky, small young dog with a feminine face and pretty charcoal gray and white fur that is non-shedding. Bria has been professionally groomed and currently has a short summer haircut. Her soft coat will grow out long and wavy if allowed. Bria weighs only 8 pounds full grown. She is a delightful, smart puppy who adapts readily to her environment. She learns quickly and settles right in without a fuss. Bria is housebroken and has good indoor manners. She has an affectionate nature and wants to be close to her people, even if its simply resting in a doggie bed in the same room. Bria loves toys and has a delightfully curious nature. She will try to figure out new toys with obvious joy and adores treats. Any chew or tasty snack will be whisked away to her doggie bed for immediate enjoyment. Her love of life really shows. Bria is excellent with other dogs and is confident to hold her own in public or other group settings. She is also good with children, but they need to be gentle since she is quite small. Bria was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter in a criminal state of neglect. She was so filthy and matted that she could not walk or go to the bathroom. The shelter could barely tell if she was a boy or a girl. Upon grooming, we discovered that Bria had a shattered back leg. She was taken to surgery where her leg was repaired using a metal plate. What was most amazing was the speed with which Bria recovered. She was using her leg in no time, running around and has no pain. She is such a survivor!! As you can see from the pictures, Bria has a brand new leg and a brand new life. She has endured much in her young life and has earned a warm and loving future, no question about it. She will give you unconditional love and lots of happiness with her bright, sunshiny personality. She's a love and has a special place in our hearts. We know she will wiggle her way into your heart too! Bria has been thoroughly vet checked and is ready for her new forever home today.
Bria’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
You may meet and apply to adopt Bria at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, JULY 31st from 12 Noon – 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH located at 1280 Bison Ave., Newport Beach, CA 92660. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com
