Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sometimes we are able to bring a collie mix into our SCR family. Marty is one of the lucky ones that are chosen. There are never enough adoptive homes or even foster homes for the mixes, let alone the ones that need extra special attention. Marty was a stray at a local shelter whose family did not come to look for him. He is a pretty gentle, unassuming guy, who is learning to love being a house dog and seems to enjoy the company of other dogs in his foster home. He was horribly matted, was full of flea dirt, and it took several sessions to show him that brushes and scissors were good things. His initial vet exam revealed a significant heart murmur, and it has been advised that he see a veterinary cardiologist for an echocardiogram. We plan to do that this next week. In the meantime, Marty is beginning to enjoy the good life. The only thing better would be a home of his own.
