Smarty Jones is a gorgeous, loving but shy blue merle aussie/collie mix rescued from a hoarder in East TN. he has been on a chain all of his life, never seeing anything but the back of the trailer , a few other dogs and the woods. He was seldom given any attention, never walked or vetted in 5 years. it is amazing that he is so loving, and craves attention. we are introducing him to the world, Smarty did very well at the dog park and handled the neuter clinic with all of its noises and confusion, other dogs and owners and the big mobile clinic as good as any other dog there. Smarty is a great boy and would do well in a home where he can be walked and encouraged with new experiences. He does need an experienced dog person someone who is calm and assertive to give him the confidence he needs. he seems to favor being a one person dog.
