Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kate is a 6+ year old red and white aussie. this dog was chained to her dog house all her life and the owner brought her into a kill shelter and said he was just tired of her. this poor dear needs a lot of time and patience but responds well to attention and now knows "sit"and down, she comes to a whistle, Kate is also learning how to be off a chain in a yard and to come back in when it is time and she is doing very well. Kate is responding well to being treated with the respect and love she deserves Kate is fine with male dogs but does not iike other females. we feel she would do best in an adult home where she can have her own person to help her continue her learning. she does like attention in typical aussie fashion and has the potential to be a great dog. Kate may have been spayed prior to rescue but we do not know so she is scheduled to have the vet check and if not spayed, she will be spayed at that time.
