Lovely lady Ariel, or "Ari" as we call her, is 2 years old, 70 pounds, some combination (we think) of: Boxer, American Bulldog, Boerboel Mastiff, and American Staffordshire Terrier. Definitely a beauty. Her gorgeous brown eyes and sweet nature will melt your heart. Ari is house-trained, crate-trained, is well behaved indoors, and gets along with other friendly, polite dogs following a proper introduction to them. She likes riding in the car and will wait calmly and patiently for you while running errands. Ariel can be a bit shy when meeting new people, especially men, but if you speak sweetly to her and take it slowly, let her come to you, she warms up soon. She will sleep through the night on her own doggy bed, or you can have her sleep in her crate at night. She knows the command "sit" and loves getting a tasty treat as a reward, and she has a soft, gentle mouth when taking the treats from you. She loves to play ball and will fetch it and bring it back so you can throw it again for her to chase, and she is totally nuts about playing in the hose water! She is charming and affectionate with her foster family and with other dogs in foster home, and a joy to have around the house. She will never turn down the opportunity to get a tummy rub. Ariel is a great snuggle-buddy when it's time to settle down and watch some TV. Ari's new family will consist of experienced, big-dog owners, who can be her guardians in the world while she is your guardian at home. Please call today to meet this sweet, gorgeous, sensitive girl.
