Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is what Chaplin's foster mom has to say about him:
Chaplin has the sweetest soul of any dog I’ve ever met. He is a shy, sensitive type with an enormous heart that absolutely craves a kind touch and soft voice. Once he does bond with someone, he is a lovebug extraordinaire! He is very stealth, so it is not unusual to turn around to find him silently staring at you with those soulful eyes, or lying curled up at your feet. Lots of wet kisses in the morning and night are mandatory, and he would love to sleep on the bed with you at night if you let him get away with it. (If you don’t, he is very content to sleep in his crate.)
Although Chaplin is a Dalmation/Boxer mix, he is surprisingly mellow. His spurts of high energy seemed to be reserved for running for a cookie, or wrestling with his foster brothers, with whom he gets along with no issues whatsoever.
He enjoys his walks, but can be strong on leash, although as his training progresses, he seems to be better and better. He would also probably prefer a home without small children -- he has never shown aggression in this instance, but only fear.
This sweet animal, with all of his quirks, has a pure soul. He is worth all the time and effort needed to fully evolve into the dog he would like to be. The only thing this dog asks for is love and security. Due to his nature, it may take some time and patience to understand his true nature, but it is so worth it.
