My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ella is about 5 or 6 years old. She was found wandering on a rural road with farm tractors nearly running over her. She was emaciated, full of ticks and fleas and her coat was full of mats. She was dehydrated and full of parasites. The vet thinks she may have been a puppy mill dog. We took her to the vet and she stayed overnight on an IV. She is heart worm negative. After several months of good nutrition, she was at a good weight to spay and vaccinate her. She will come to you fully vetted. Ella is a sweet and funny little soul. She's low key and low maintenance. The vet had to shave her fur off of her back to get rid of all of the mats so her fur is just now growing out and we are hoping we can get her groomed soon. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She loves canned food and boiled chicken. She'll dance for her food if you let her. She's not much into toys but she does enjoy treats and fluffy beds. If you are looking for a quiet, sweet soul to spend time with you, Ella is perfect. She's been gaining weight since she was found on May 24, 2016. She's just a little soft, silkie, apricot girl who desperately needs a forever home of her own. We've witnessed her blossom but we know in the right home, she'll soar.
