My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Casatta celebrated her first birthday at Christmas time. She is still very small at 10.5 lbs for her last vet visit, but she keeps up with her foster sister, running and playing in the yard. She has decided that she's going to be the resident Cairn’s girlfriend (or shadow). She always wants to go where he's going. When they go out, they both stand at the edge of the deck, shoulder to shoulder, surveying the yard. She's such a little social butterfly, and is also quite nurturing to the other dogs. If her shyest foster sister is having a hard time coming in, Casatta will go out on the deck and look for her. Then she trots down in the yard to get her and coaxes her back inside with everyone else.
It is remarkable how well Casatta is doing. She has healed up nicely and if you didn't know it, you wouldn't realize she underwent major, major surgery four months ago.....
