My story

It is with great privilege that I introduce a fine lass, Miss Clancy Colleen. Clancy is a darling little red wheaten girl who has just experienced her 6 month birthday. Clancy upholds the Irish characteristics that her name implies: she is delicate, yet sturdy; she walks with grace but can initiate rowdy play with the resident dogs; she has a shyness and sweetness about her, but will not give up on her quest of getting your attention for belly scritches or lap time. Clancy has been with us about a week, and during this time has made great strides in her confidence and comfort with the resident dogs. Clancy loves people of all ages. She is making progress in her housebreaking, and keeps her crate dry all night. Clancy is not yet sure about the doggie door, but is giving the 'dive through the flapping door' some serious consideration! As the weather is becoming milder, Clancy loves to sit on the deck watching and listening to nature's miracles. She also loves walks--she a romantic, you know! Clancy is heartworm negative, has been spayed, and is up to date on all vaccines and testings. Although she is still in the evaluation period and not yet ready for adoption, it won't be long at all until (as the Gaelic song says)'Clancy lowers the boom' into your heart. Don't let the breezes from the Irish Sea carry her to someone else's heart.
