My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tadpole is a very smart, six-month-old puppy with a beautiful, red brindle coat. He knows how to “Sit” and “Lay Down” on command, and is working on the “Stay,” “Look At Me,” and “Come” commands. He loves to run and tumble with the other dogs at his foster home. Tad has long, puppy legs. Both ears, which flop down just at the tip, bounce when he runs. His puppy coat is short right now, but a beautiful, deep red, shot with black. Although he can have an occasional pensive moment, he is mostly on the move, constantly looking for new things to see and do. When running and playing, he has a cute smile on his face, too.


Tad is a problem solver, too. When tackling a closed patio door or a big step to climb, he believes that a straight forward approach is good the first two times. Then, if that doesn't get him what he wants, backing up and getting a running start before he jumps is sure to solve his problem.


Food is one of Tad's favorite things. First thing in the morning, he's ready to eat, and eat. He must be a growing puppy! He also likes balls, toys, running, jumping, wrestling and being with his people. He's developed a pretty good heel, walking so close beside you that it's wise to look down before taking another step. He has a puppy's knack for walking in front of your feet at times.

Tadpole is being fostered in Florrisant, Missouri in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada! October 25, 2024, 4:09 pm
