My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smuckers is a dog's dog. He's all wags and kisses, for sure, but he takes being a dog very seriously and he wants the humans around him to know it. First, he doesn't act his age. His face may be gray but it takes a lot to wear this guy out. Second, he has honed doggy skills. He can snap a green bean out of mid-air, run and play with dogs four times his size, drink from the toilet (Yeah, I know; I've never had a Cairn before that does this, but he does so we're working on it), protect the yard from any vermin, and alert the neighborhood if a stranger walks by (we're working on that, too). Third, he is eager to learn new things and, by gum, if you have a treat, he's all ears. Somebody is going to have a lot of fun with Smuckers! SMUCKERS is being fostered in MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!
