My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

KEEFE Gaelic for handsome and adorable and I have plenty of both.

My coat will be a beautiful silvery brindle when it grows out as I am recovering from being abandoned and being tormented by infected flea bites and a whole body yeast infection that caused my hair to fall out and my skin to take on a leathery type texture. However, inheriting the Cairn genes (I am probably a purebred Cairn) insures that my coat should be full and beautiful in just a few months.

My foster Mom calls me Rhett Butler as I am a gentleman, athletic, love people, and I don't take kindly to harassment by other dogs. I am not vicious or hurtful, but I make it clear that you shouldn't pick on me no matter what your status is!

Be prepared to play ball with me ALL the time! I will bring the ball right to your hand or your lap and gently remind you that the ball needs to be thrown so I can go and fetch it. You might want to say no, but one look into those big brown eyes of mine will compel you to throw it 'just one more time.' Ask my foster Mom!
