My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pershing has stormed the hill to arrive in Col. Potter Land. Like his namesake, General 'Black Jack' Pershing, he’s black haired and dashing. He was a shelter turn-in who snapped at the workers there when they got a little fresh, but he seemed to sense 'Cairn person' when I arrived to pick him up – and he displayed only good manners for me.
Pershing is 16 pound 1 year old - full of high spirits and fun. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home - with one of them teaching him manners when HE gets too fresh. He sleeps well in his crate and he has accepted correction graciously from both people AND dogs. He was a little itchy when he arrived, but good food, a good bath and a dose of Frontline seems to have done the trick. Pershing is a delightful little boy.
