My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are keeping Spurges in the living room in the evening with the family rather than allowing him to do what he prefers which is stay in his open crate and look out. He is a very reserved little man, but every day when I come in the door, he is the first one to the door to greet me and turn in happy circles, talking and running all the while until I pet him and the rest of the crew before dinner. He makes my day just that much better. Spurges has a very interesting vocabulary when he is wound up - we love to hear what he will 'say' next! Spurges comes out of his little shell on the weekends when we have coffee and doughnuts upstairs. He turns into a speed demon to get up the stairs and he is the most perfect gentleman ever while he waits his turn for his treat. He can be intimidated by his Cairn brother, who is a big pig and thinks all the treats are for him, but Spurges just sits and waits patiently, and takes his treat gently from my hand. If you are looking for a loving, quiet companion with tons of potential, who will no doubt greet you with his happy talk when you come home, then Spurges might be just the little man for you! Spurges is being fostered in Hampton, Virginia in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!
