Hi everyone, my name is Sprite and I'm a 7 month old Catahoula/aussie mix! I'm on the skinny side at 26 lbs but the vet says I'll probably end up around 35-40lb tops so about the size of a Mini Aussie. I'm great with kids, dogs, men and women. Cats I can get a little excited over but I'm easily corrected. My foster mom says it's not a prey drive, just a curious puppy who wants to play. I will say though that claws to the face HURT but boy did I learn! I complained to my mommy but she just looked at me, raised her eyebrows and shook her head. She didnt even tell the bad kitty to say sorry!! I'm a jumper. Not on people but over baby gates. If you leave me then over I go! My mommy says I NEED to be crated when not supervised because I could get really hurt with my escapes. Shes working with me on stopping but I get so excited and my legs are like springs! I just want to be with my people. I'm in a 6 foot fenced yard at my foster mommy's but she says that a 4 foot fence will be TOO SHORT for me and 'bad news bears' whatever that means. I'm kind of potty trained. I hold it really well in a crate but I like to drive my foster family crazy by pooping around the corner in the kitchen where they cant see me. We are working on that still. I know sit and down. We are working on stay and roll over. I run right to my crate for meals because I know that is where I get fed. I get a little grumbly with other dogs and my food (you would too if you were starving and underweight right?) But with people I don't at all. And I love playing tug and fetch! I can get mouthy when I play but I'm learning!
