My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

An adoption application on SALLY can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to weatherley.woofriver@gmail.com. Please submit an application AND do NOT also contact the shelter. You will be contacting both the adoption coordinator and the marketing director, who do not see each other's emails. This causes confusion.

SALLY is just the most adorable girl! She will be 10 weeks old as of 7/9/16. She is a great mix of cuddle and play. She inquisitive and bright. However, she is submissive towards and takes correction from the adult dogs in her foster home and the cat she met at the barn! She is an all around wonderful puppy who aims to please. SALLY and her siblings were lucky enough to get to all stay together in one foster home until they were 7 weeks old. At that point they were split into groups of 2 and 3 and moved to other foster homes where they could get more individualized attention. SALLY is picking up on potty training very quickly. She is going to make her forever family very happy for many years!

SALLY will be microchipped and vaccinated as many times as age will allow when she arrives at her forever home.
Her $450 adoption fee includes an interstate health certificate and transport to the New England area.

An adoption application for SALLY can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to weatherley.woofriver@gmail.com. It typically takes us around 5 business days to process an application. We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
