Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Alfie is a 9-lb bundle of happy!! You'd be happy too if you were rescued from the shelter on your LAST DAY!
A smart, healthy 1-yr-old pup with big brown eyes, he's affectionate, lively, playful, and gives great kisses. He has lots of energy and is very puppy-like.
Alfie has super-soft, curly, non-shedding bichon hair, white with apricot on his ears and tail. He was very matted when he came into the shelter so he got the usual shelter shave-down (we'll just call it his "summer" cut). But he's going to be the most gorgeous fluff on the block as soon as his hair grows back!
Alfie just wants to be with you -- he likes to play, he walks happily on a leash, and he rides well in the car. He is also very content to curl up on your lap or lay next to you for a belly rub. He likes to play with other small dogs; the big ones make him a little nervous. He wants to chase the cats (although he wouldn't hurt them); he just thinks chase is a really fun game!
Alfie is well behaved and knows how to potty outside. This little sweetheart is a delight. If you have the time to train him and make sure he gets plenty of exercise, then he will make a great companion!
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vet checked, microchipped, groomed, de-wormed, de-flea'd, and come with a collar, leash, and ID tag.
ANOTHER OPTION:
So many people contact me looking for a companion for their existing dog. Finding the perfect companion is not always easy: you have to find the right size, the right temperament, sometimes the right gender, and you usually have to take your dog to meet several dogs before finding "the one" (and with the price of gas, who wants to do that?).
Well here's your chance to avoid all the hassle and get them both at the same time! Alfie and Hailey have become friends, and we all know two are better than one!
They can be adopted together or separately; your choice.
