Tubby was rescued from the Downey Shelter where she broke my heart. She laid in the back, old and overweight, and wouldn't even look up. We had to rescue her. She acted the same way at our rescue ranch for 2 weeks until I discovered from the shelter that she was found alone in her home along with her owner who had passed away. Tubby was grieving...Tubby lost someone who loved her very much. Tubby is so incredibly sweet but can be a little shy and timid as well. She is definitely overweight at 19 pounds as she is a small dog. She probably would feel a lot better at 15 pounds. Tubby is housetrained, crate-trained but loves to sleep on the bed with you. She has a little arthritis in her back leg that can stiffen up at times so she would do better in a single level home as she ages, but other than that, she is completely healthy. Tubby is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all shots (including rabies) and has had a full anesthetic dental. Tubby is ready to again find a loving home who will love her and give her another shot at having a wonderful home. Please call (951) 609-0765 or email us at greendogfoundation@gmail.com
