My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jaeger" is an absolutely gorgeous 1 year old sable male purebred German Shepherd who has been a dedicated family member and working dog in-training for his owner/handler, who, because of tragic circumstance, could no longer keep him.

Jaeger is a sweet, quiet, and most of all, loving guy, who worked very hard at his training tasks. He has been exposed to people of all ages, and has lived with other dogs peacefully. While we think Jaeger could possibly make a wonderful working dog, his best asset is his desire to cuddle, love, and be loved.

Jaeger is keenly aware of his environment, and prefers a calm and quiet place to call home. Jaeger has been working on getting used to different environments, and it would help him if that informal training continued.

We are looking for a family who owns their own home, with a fenced in yard, or, a plan for exercise. He is a young boy, and has a typical amount of energy for his age.

Complimentary training is available for Jaeger and his family to insure that he gets off to the best possible start.
