Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Uni" is an absolutely gorgeous sable female purebred German Shepherd who has been a dedicated family member and working dog for her owner/handler, who, because of tragic circumstance, could no longer keep her.
Uni is sweet, social, and super smart. She is trained to a very high level of obedience, and during her "working" career, has been a dedicated detection dog, looking for human remains, to help bring closure to families who's loved ones were missing.
Uni could learn just about anything, and could be a wonderful competition obedience or agility dog, or, most importantly, a loving and loyal pet and family member.
At a youthful 4 years old, Uni's early retirement needs to be in a home that will treasure her and give her the life she deserves. We are requiring her new family to own their own home, preferably have a fenced in yard, or a plan of how she will be exercised.
She has been around people of all ages, and has lived with other dogs, however, she can be grumpy with some dogs, so ideally, Uni is best suited to be the only dog in the home. We will require a home inspection for this girl.
