Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WE ADOPT ONLY IN THE GREATER ST. LOUIS AREA.
Mr. Murray, the biggest Corgi we’ve ever seen in our rescue. He’s such a lover and a friend to everyone! He has a beautiful thick Corgi coat. He walks so nicely on a lead and is a true gentleman. He is very submissive and typically greets new people by rolling over on his back. Outside he’s a critter chaser and is very attentive to his surroundings. Inside he’s a mellow dude. He loves other dogs especially his foster brother Tank.
Murray would not do well as an only dog, he needs another doggy friend for confidence and additional training with his new family will certainly help too. A gentle confident dog would be best.
If you’re looking for a dog to play catch with, Murray is not your guy. He just doesn’t like flying items like balls and toys. He will find a place to go as far away from the throwing as he can. A family with small children will also be too stressful for Murray.
Mr. Murray is an escape artist. He won’t jump the fence (he’s way too big for that) but he will certainly take advantage of any weak spots, and he’s been known to get out of some really tight spaces. He’s perfectly content in a crate, but it must be a secure. A flimsy crate will not do. He will need to be crated when his favorite human is not home so as not to destroy your precious shoes. The boy loves shoes!
Murray was three years old in April. He is neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines. He is house and crate trained. He weighs approximately 58 pounds. We require a fenced yard for Murray. For more information please email corgisandclaire@gmail.com or call at 314-422-2350. We do not place to homes with an electric fence. Murray will not be placed with small children.
