Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gizmo is a major little lap dog. He's happiest with his favorite people and is a sweet little guy who LOVES playing with other dogs. He definitely needs a fenced in yard and at least one canine companion to have fun with.
Gizmo bonds very hard to his people, and takes time to warm up to new people.
He's a real sweetheart though (can't emphasize this enough) once he knows you. We are guessing he's a Schnauzer mixed with a Rat Terrier. Whatever he is, he's unusual, scruffy, and totally adorable.
Gizmo is about 12 pounds and is neutered, fully vetted and micro-chipped with all age appropriate vaccines. His adoption fee is $150.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Munster, Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. Adoption fees range from $150-$350. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
