Hello darlings! My name is Martha & I'm proud to say that I am a warm, tenderhearted 3 year-old Mastiff aching to get out of this cage & go home. I've become so stressed here, getting so skinny to the point where I am gaunt looking with my ribs protruding. If only there was a tender family to go home to without other furry children! I'm referred to the volunteers as a delicious sugar pie! (Perhaps they are hungry?) If you are a sap for big dogs then you should most certainly make my acquaintance. I'm the perfect gentle giant for a family with young children & can match the pace of an elderly human. Unfortunately for me I was rejected from my family because my tender ways with humans did not extend to the furry animals. As wonderful as I am, my disliking of cats & dogs has limited my chances for adoption. I would make such a darling companion though! I fancy taking nice strolls with people and & pet & fawned over. I will sit for you & give paw when asked of me. I would appreciate being rewarded with treats so you can see how graceful I am when taking them from your hands. Aren't I a dish? You must come down & meet me face-to-face. I promise you won't be able to resist my soft doe eyes! The first time ever I lay with you, I'll feel your heart so close to mine. I know our joy will fill the earth & last till the end of time.
