My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

India is a young female Min Pin / Chihuahua mix,. She is about a year old and about 11-12 pounds. She was found running down a rural road, and was unclaimed despite attempts to find her owners.

She is very sweet and people oriented and loves to be where you are. She's quite the little cuddler.
She walks on a leash and is mostly house broken, though she does pee when overly excited. She has some separation anxiety, and can bark or howl when upset so that should be taken into consideration. She also shows signs of past abuse and, while she isn't overly fearful, or timid, she needs someone who can be loving, gentle and understanding with her.
She does well with other dogs, walks on a leash, and rides well in the car.
At this time she has no idea what a toy or a treat is, so we're hoping that her forever family is waiting to help her learn.
