My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is the sweetest little poodle mix. She is approx 2 yrs old and 15 lbs. She is just the most loving little girl that loves to sit on your lap. She is a quiet little girl and gets along with the other dogs but prefers the smaller, quieter ones. She is quite well house and leash trained and loves her doggie bed. She is going to be a great companion for someone. She is a mixed breed and not hypoallergenic or good for anyone with allergies. She tested positive for heart worms and has been treated with the required series of injections, we usually find that the dogs test negative in 4- 6 months , she also has started on a monthly heartworm preventive.

The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. .

Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law adds an additional cost of $125.
