My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello out there! I'm Maxine Turner and I'm hoping to find a furever home that won't give me up because we don't have time for me. I was super loving, house broken and everything, but they didn't want me anymore. Seriously? That made me sad. A nice lady adopted me last year but I got sick with those bladder stones right away, and my foster mom went and brought me back home so I could get the operation to get rid of them, and it took a long time for my bladder to get so I could go without having to tinkle.

So now I'm all better (with special food) and ready to go! I'm about nine years old, weigh 14 lbs., and follow my FM around everywhere. There are a lot of dogs here, so I could be in a home with other dogs or a home by myself (my FM thinks that's what I used to have). I'm super sweet and ache for a home where I could snuggle next to you on the sofa or go for car rides.

Oh, I do have a heart murmur too. It doesn't bother me at all, but I don't think I would be good in a home with lots of playing and excitement, or going out for a run.
