Here's what the humans have to say about me:
All potential adopter’s will need to be approved to adopt from MWBCR and should visit our website at www.mwbcr.org for more information on the approval process.

Mocha is a fun loving girl who craves one on one attention. She is a quick learner and I have no doubt that she would enjoy some type of sport in her future. She is learning how to play with toys and is quickly enjoying the toss of a ball and bringing it back (almost all the way). She depends on her sisters lead but when they are separate she is learning to be more confident and is trying new things. Mocha loves men, women, kids and other dogs. Wrestling, tug and chase are favorites in the house. Outside she enjoys leash walks and stalking/chasing critters in the yard. A fenced in yard is preferred because of her high drive.
She is doing well with house training. She keeps her crate clean and enjoys going in there to rest and eat her meals. She has not messed in the house and keeps her mouth on dog toys only. She has met cats and is interested, but when they hissed she backed off. With smaller house pets (Guinea pigs in particular) she is very interested in and does not do well with them unless out of sight. We are working on jumping, which has come a long way. She is still very bouncy but knows by keeping her paws on the ground we will pet her faster.
She is up to date on her puppy shots, heartworm negative and will be spayed soon.
Mocha would love to have a family of her own. An added bonus would be a fur brother or sister to wrestle and play with.
Mocha is currently recovering from an eye injury (ulcerated cornea). Before meeting Mocha, we were told that she was blind in her right eye. Luckily, the eye is healing from an unknown injury (my guess is rough play by the sisters who got a bit carried away). There could be some blurred vision as a result but only time will tell. She also is being treated for round and hook worms.
*Please note that there is a lot of interest in Mocha. Please do not get discouraged if she is adopted before you might have a chance to meet her. There are several fun young dogs that are coming into our care who need a good home!

Mocha and her sister Luna are both six months old and were surrendered by their owner, we assume that they are litter mates but don’t know much about their history. They have just come into our care and are being evaluated by their Foster. Stay tuned for more information!
