My story

Updated bio 6-14-16 Lucky is a 6 years old sweet Yorkie boy. He is 8 wonderful pounds. Lucky is being fostered in Lighthouse Point, FL. Lucky's adoption fee is $395 and includes all vetting (neuter, dental cleaning, immunizations, microchip and chip registration). A Vet reference, personal references, and home visit are required for adoption. You may apply to adopt Lucky by going to our website at www.unitedyorkierescue.org and completing the adoption application located on our home page.






Lucky wants me to just give you great news! He went to the vet last week for his X-rays and he is healing as expected. His broken bone is about completely healed and he is ready to find his forever home.



Lucky is house trained and waits to be taken outside. He has been walking on the leash 2 times a day for approximately 20 minutes for each walk and he loves it. He is about the happiest fellow you could ever see. Lucky has been through some much and still he is the sweetest dog ever. He will follow his people all over and wherever they are he is there too. He is calm, loves attention, and belly rubs. He will lie on your lap and he will just go off sleep.



Lucky gets along fine with other dogs, but would be just fine as the only pup in the house. A home with a backyard or with someone to take him out often would be the best for Lucky.



He does not like being left alone for long periods of time, so someone home much of the time would be ideal for Lucky. If you are looking for a loving and sweet dog Lucky is the perfect fit. He would be the best companion you can have. What a great fellow! Lucky is now proud to say that he is definitely a Lucky boy.
