Hi, I’m Yael. I was rescued from a Seal Beach alley with my three kittens a few years ago. What a relief it was to get off the street into a safe place. I was not used to being around people and I still don’t allow people to approach me but I don’t hide as much as I used to and no longer run for my life when someone enters my room at SBACC. I enjoy the company of other cats and am comfortable here. I wouldn’t mind living out my years where I’m loved and cared for by a wonderful team of volunteers and staff. Maybe if the right person came along, I could adjust to a new home, but SBACC feels like home.
