My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Teddi this gentle soul who has traveled half way around the world in search of a loving home. Teddi is about 2 years old, neutered male, Collie/Shepherd mix, and up to do date with all of his shots. He was found as a stray dog then sheltered with a few other stray dogs at an abandoned property, until one of Vafa Animal Shelter's volunteers fostered him in her home where he lived 2 people and 3 small resident dogs. He arrived in New York on March 25th, and has been coming out of his shell more and more everyday and proving to be one gentle and loving dog who loves life and believes that there is a loving forever home out there for him too. Teddi likes cats and other dogs. He enjoys going on walks and hikes, walks well on the leash, and also likes his chewies. Teddi will do well in a home with an active lifestyle where he can get plenty of exercise and learn lots of new fun things through positive reinforcement and reward-based training methods.
