My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

His gorgeous red brindle coat and his regal appearance earned this guy the name Shere Khan after the tiger and leader of the jungle in Disney's “The Jungle Book”. While his features bring to mind a powerful tiger, his corky, outgoing personality brings to mind a playful young cub more so then an adult.

Shere Khan has a playful almost childlike innocence to him. Whenever he meets new people or a loyal companion and caretaker he is one wiggly blur of excitement. He will sit patiently waiting for attention with his tail wagging back and forth rocking his body the whole time. Once he is able to get close he will bounce with enthusiasm generally keeping his paws on the ground but looking for any opportunity to sneak in a kiss or two.

When it comes to other dogs, he is just as enthusiastic to play with them as he is to hang out with a loving person. He is playful and bouncy with other dogs, generally play bowing to entice them into a game of tag or bumping shoulders with them to encourage them to run or wrestle. He seems to be good at reading other dogs personalities and will usually try to act in a way with which they are happy. If the other dog isn't too playful, he will tone down his energy and walk beside them play bowing periodically just to check if they have decided they would like to play now.
