Available for adoption through Fur the Love of PAWS Rescue!
Dove is the mother of Lark, Hawk and Starling. (Starling and Lark are adopted)
Dove was a pregnant stray in a city animal control shelter. She gave birth to three kittens less than 48 hours after her rescue. Dove is available for adoption with her son Hawk, and Lark is looking for home of her own! They were born on April 25th and are happy, healthy, socialized and ready for the new family's!
**INFO ON DOVE & HAWK:
Hawk always comes to the rescue when someone's getting roughed up, even Mama Dove. He's the biggest and LOVES his canned food and crunchies. He's mastered the side-step- arched-back scare move. Lover of the bunch. At night he needs his human cuddles and seeks them out. He is litter trained and ready to be the goofy center of attention!
Dove is truly an amazing cat. She is just over 8lbs and a petite, gorgeous Russian Blue blend. She has asked to speak on her own behalf. :)
"Even though these babies take up a lot of time, I still like snuggles. I also like knowing where my human is at all times because some times I just want cuddles for myself. I like to rest my head on my foster mom's shoulder when we talk about how the day went. I lay at her feet when she's in our room visiting, if I'm not begging to be held. I don't often jump on her lap, but I'm affectionate. I'm not crazy about strangers, but I warm up with time. I'm inquisitive, like my flock of babies, just like any good mom would be. I'm litter trained and I am playing with toys. My kittens think I'm a jungle gym so I don't get a lot of alone time, which I am ok with and why I can't wait to find a forever home with my son, Hawk. I love purring so you know I'm happy. I'm very patient too and I know I'll be a good pet for anyone with older children. I would really like a home where Hawk and I are the treasured felines of the family. I wouldn't mind a home with a mellow dog. Ok that's all for now, my nest is chirping, gotta go!"
We know there is a home out there that can love this duo as much as we do. Dove and Hawk's adoption fee is a combined $100. They are currently in foster in Broken Bow, but don't let location stop you from adopting or inquiring.
What your adoption fee covers: Spay/Neuter, first vaccines, deworming, FIV/FeLV test, microchip and overall health exam. It also covers their 2+ months in foster care, tender loving care by a foster mom and a well socialized, happy and healthy kitten and Mama Cat.
