Cora is an international rescue from the streets of Tehran. She came to the US 3 years ago and was adopted out to a family who lost their ability to care for her due to their health issues. She then found a lovely new home where she has been loved and cared for, however she can no longer stay in this home due to lifestyle changes.
All the moving around has made it harder for Cora to settle. She has a lot of personality and is a sweet loving dog at home. She loves her toys and enjoys playing with her doggie friends.
Cora will do best in a home in a quiet neighborhood where she can go on walks without having to deal with a lot of traffic and noises, so that she can start to relax and learn to enjoy her walks again.
She needs to continue her training routine using positive reinforcement and reward-based training methods, go on daily walks and hikes and if possible play dates with compatible dogs to burn off some steam. She will also do well in Nosework classes and training.
Cora is one smart cookie in search of a loving forever home. If you are interested in meeting her, or have any questions about her please contact: Farah Ravon at kfravon@yahoo.com
