My story

Maloos Meet Maloos, female, spayed, 2-year old, Basenji – Dachshund mix. At first she may come across as a bit timid, but soon she will warm up and show you just how sweet, loving, loyal, and smart she is. Maloos was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation in Iran. With the help of our team of dedicated volunteers, she has crossed the oceans in search of a forever loving home. She is house trained, and although she hasn’t had any formal training she is wonderful to be around. Maloos enjoys her daily exercise as she a very active dog, plays well with other dogs, and people. She is currently being fostered in a home with 2 other female dogs and a cat. Her foster mom says: ' Maloos loves to follow her foster sisters everywhere. She loves to simply sprint around the dog park. She will roll over, wiggle her body and let you play paddy-cake with her paws. Maloos is looking for a family that would appreciate an energetic dog, and is willing to teach her new behaviors, tricks, as well as manners around food, using positive reinforcement training which will go a long way in not only bonding with her but also in making her an even happier and more confident dog. Maloos will do really well in agility and Flyball. Children 6 and above.
