My story

Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.

Chesty wants to be the next member of your family! He is a terrific dog that just wants somebody to love. He is approximately 6 months old. Chesty and his sister, Chelsey, were seen being thrown out of a pick up truck's window. Luckily neither were harmed and are on their way to a much better life than the one they left behind. Chesty is good natured and does well with cats, kids, and other dogs. He is an active, young guy and loves to play. He is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via PETS transport services upon adoption. His adoption fee is $400 and includes neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, and transport costs. We will offer a discount to any family interested in adding both Chesty and Chelsey to their family so they are able to stay together.

Second Chances is a rescue organization based out of Pontotoc, Mississippi which adopts dogs and puppies all over the Northeastern United States. All of our dogs and puppies are kept in private foster homes in Mississippi until adopted. Our dogs are NEVER in a facility.
