In return for all of these assorted greetings that Foxie has to offer, she only asks a few things in return... She enjoys head rubs, chin rubs, & being scratched behind her ears. She loves treats and digs catnip. Kitty condos with perches for her to nap on are a big plus in her eyes. She finds brushing relaxing and will even make it easy on you - just hold the brush and she'll rub up against it with all different parts of her body. We gave Foxie a cat spa that has brushes attached to it - she loves it and will nudge her head and face all over the brushes. Once she finishes with her face, she'll roll on the cat spa brushes to beautify the rest of her body. It's not unusual to find Foxie treating herself to a day at the spa after she eats her breakfast.
And then there's the toys...you didn' think we were done with Foxie's wish list yet, did you? Foxie thinks swizzle wands and regular feather wands are quite entertaining. She is absolutely hilarious when it comes to laser toys - she would chase that laser beam up the wall and to the ceiling if she could! Foxie can be a bit of a diva sometimes and is not afraid of communicating her needs to you. If Foxie is feeling neglected, she'll swat your leg as you walk by as if to say, "Hello, remember me? Need some attention here!" Likewise, if she's had enough petting or attention she'll swat you as if to say, "Hello, I know I'm adorable, but I'm starting to feel smothered!"
Our Foxie would do best in a home where she's given some time to adjust to her new surroundings. Since there are times Foxie enjoys attention and other times when she enjoys her independence, her new family will need to respect that...it doesn't take long to understand what Foxie wants! Foxie would be fine as your one and only cherished feline or would do equally well with another friendly, mellow kitty. There are many things Foxie loves about life - treats, cat spas, toys, kitty condos - but what she loves most are her people. People to dote on her and that she can dote on in return.
