My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Asher's mom was found dead near the side of the highway, obviously a victim of a "hit-and-run". Asher was beside his mother - although we are not sure how he found her. He was in such bad shape that he could barely stand. His eyes were glued shut from an infection and there is no way he could smell because his nose was so plugged as well. We weren't sure he would make it, but he seemed to be a little fighter, so he was placed in foster care.

Despite his emaciated and weakened condition, Asher proved just how much cats (even little ones!) can overcome! He was fed with high nutrient wet food out of a syringe for a few days until he could eat on his own. We are guessing his age at approximately 8 weeks when we found him (July 23). Now he is able to clean himself and is gaining weight rapidly! He is a very snuggly baby and starts purring the instant he sees his foster mom!

Asher requires a home that will continue to meet his needs, and that will be committed to keeping him safe and loved for the rest of his life. His adoption fee includes the cost of his neutering at approximately 5.5 months of age, as well as first vaccinations when he is healthy enough.
