Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"ELLA" -- is a 10 mos., spayed female Border Collie or mix.. heartworm neg. and UTD on shots. Ella was rescued from a shelter and nothing is known of her previous life. She is a delightful dog who greets total strangers with a happy tail, a big grin and a whole-body wriggle. She likes balls, playing tag and a good chewy treat. She loves to run, and would likely be a tremendous agility candidate. She is being crate trained and housetrained. She's praise and food motivated so continuing her training ought to be a breeze. She gets along with other dogs and is intimidated by cats. Ella is an adolescent; highly energetic and exhuberant, yet still a little "puppy mouthy" so she will not be placed with children under 8. Obedience class will be a requirement for her adoption. Ella is being fostered in Vermont.
You MUST first fill out an adoption application AND have a home visit BEFORE being considered for any NEBCR dog. As this process can take time, we recommend that you complete these first 2 steps BEFORE inquiring about a specific dog.
For more information on Ella, or other dogs we have available for adoption, please see our web site www.NEBCR.org.
