Queso's Story...

"Queso" is a 14 month old male, 10 pound Maltese mix. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vetted and up-to-date with vaccines. He was rescued from a “high kill” shelter in Houston Texas. He has a very happy personality and is always wagging his tail with enthusiasm. He loves people, especially children and gets along with most dogs his size, has not been tested with cats yet. He is very alert, active and responds to his environment with a puppy like exuberance. He also loves to play with toys and can entertain himself when his humans don’t want to play. He is doing well with house training, but tends to have occasional accidents if he does not get enough time outdoors. "Queso" is a very sweet dog, wanting to please his owner and has a lot of love to give. He loves to cuddle and be with people as much as possible, he also tolerates being crated at night. His ideal family would be willing to work with him to develop basic obedience, good manners and continue his housebreaking routine. He is being fostered in Stamford, CT.
